Today we are disturbed because of ill health, stress and strain, competition and criticism from others, al because of our weak mind. A weak minded person always justifies himself by blaming others and situations. A strong minded person thinks creatively, acts positively and accepts boldly. Through meditation we can develop a positive mind which accepts every thing rejects nothing. It learns even from enemies and turn al adversities into advantages. A positive minded person is always active and Time provides him with lot of opportunities. Such a person can never fail in life. For a beginner, the meditation technique can be as follows: step 1. Nama Japam :

We all live with the mind, governed by the countless thoughts that race through the mind. The mind can provide you with a healthy or unhealthy life. Memories of the miseries one might have encountered in the past and worries about the future, both can destroy the healthy state of mind. Only a healthy mind can produce all the required secretions, chemicals, enzymes etc. in the body, thus harmonizing health. A disturbed mind not only disturbs the quality of your life, but also has negative effects at the physical level producing toxins that make you physically unhealthy. Living continuously with a disturbed mind would ultimately result in a totally depressed, suppressed state of life. How can one develop mental health? Japam is the medicine for developing a healthy mind. Whenever we hear the word Japam, we take it to mean the repetition of the Mantras of Gods or Goddesses. But if we understand the concept of Japam scientifically, it is the real means to strengthen and balanc

The baby wakes up rested, full of zestful energy and enthusiasm for its innumerable activities which needs to be

The Importance and Significance of Temple Worship in Our Spiritual Development:

Image
According to our Vedic literature and especially as Lord Krishna emphasizes in the Bhagavad-Gita (18th Chapter), the structure of the temple represents the human body. The divine power in the Deity is the same divinity in each one of us. Though evolution has started from Consciousness, human mind which is the first manifestation of Consciousness, has the potentiality to identify with the body and continuously become conscious of everything except Consciousness itself. Mind can think everything because of the power of Consciousness. You identify yourself as a man or woman of a certain age with certain relationships, responsibilities, knowledge, skills and other attributes. All are limiting themselves at the level of body and mind. But think, the mind and the body work because of whom? All our physiological systems and mental faculties – are they working because of our breathing and food consumption alone? If we are ready to think, we will find that the power of Consciousness

You will miss a great opportunity to expand and explore. Medical Science says, human behaviour varies because of the hormonal imba

The falsehood of linguistic evidence of Aryan invasion :

Image
By D.A. Ramachandra It is necessary to refute the theory of Aryan Invasion/Aryan Migration (a more sophisticated yet highly dubious version now being propagated by people like Ms. Romila Thapar). It is just a mischief of missionaries/Leftists and other westernised people. Since these theories have been proved to be incorrect by archeological and other evidences, they are now coming up with an idea of Aryan Migration sighting linguistic evidence. Thapar and others go to great extent saying that linguistic evidence is beyond doubt. She also says that it is an advanced discipline and lot of work has been carried out in this area and the other side lacks scholarship. Shri Rajaram refers to this branch as pseudo science. However there is also need to refute this evidence to give final burial to theories of invasion and migration. Unfortunately in our country this has not happened. It is time to start to dissect the linguistic evidence, since it is one main hiding point of th

INTRODUCTION-   Vedas are the basic religious scriptures upon which the tradition of Indian-theism is based. These four Vedas i.e. Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajurveda and Atharvaveda contains all the knowledge of this universe and they are well preserved in it. The Vedic sages, for the benediction of human beings condensed this vast expansion of learning into cryptic form. Their pupils who were of sharp intellect memorized them as soon as these words of great knowledge were pronounced by them (sages). But in due course of time sue to gradual depreciation in the ability of memorizing, it became problematic to preserve these invaluable learning. To solve this problem the learned and knowledgeable persons devised means to preserve it by categorizing Vedas into six divisions which were known as ‘Vedanga’ (Vedas’ organ) and by writing it down in the form of numerous authentic volumes on diverse subjects. This tradition resulted into the creation of numerous volumes of diverse su
